Kid quotes again

Just a few more kid quotes:

We talked about how spiders go away in the winter, but where do they go?
Lucy: They probly go in bags, maybe.
Me: Bags?  What kind of bags??
Lucy: Pink bags

Luke: Mommy, can I have the brown horsey in my bed?
Me: Well, that's gonna be kind of uncomfortable.
Luke: Well, it's hard.  And I like hard horseys in my bed.

Me: I'm cold!
Luke:  I can keep you warm with my paws!

Lucy: You're doing really good on your ship, Luke!
Luke: Don't talk to me while I'm building it!  It's gonna be really scary cause there will be pirates on it.  And they are mean.

Luke: Like my watch?
Me: Yeah! What time is it?
Luke:  It's, it's...um...it's winter!

Uncle Paul found Luke face down on the floor and asked it he was a little tired, to which he replied, "I'm a dead cow."

Luke (to Lucy):  When I was a baby I had hair.  But when you were a baby you didn't have hair.

Me: Do you want more Life?
Luke:  Yeah, but not too much.  They tell me not to have a lot of Life.
Me: Who tells you?
Luke: They just tell me.

Lucy: Can I wear this shirt to Christie's?  Cause I'm afraid she's gonna think it's pretty! So can I wear it?

Me: Can you get me the brush, Luke?
Luke: Sure, I would like to!  But you look pretty, is the truf!

I got the kids their breakfast one morning and Luke said, "okay Lucy, start eating."  For some reason she just didn't start right away, and he said, "I don't wanna start without you!"

I explained fast sunday to Lucy, mainly cause I had said no to some root beer, and of course she said, "but when it's slow Sunday, then we can have root beer and whatever we want.

Luke:  When kids are by theirselves and there is a mean dinosaur, then there better be a daddy with a sword. And it would be dark.  And then he would have to have someping to protect.  (a shield)

My kids and the stuff they think up!

Sometimes Luke is willing to be Lucy's prince and they dance.

 An impromptu hug!

Sometimes I just love how they set up their animals.  Their animals do everything together.  They go to priesthood and relief society, the zoo, Jaime's house, Grandma's house, Smith's...

We were all too busy playing our own games on New Year's eve so these little girlies decided to get their own game out.

Luke's "statues" of Harry & Ron.

I interrupted sacrament meeting for these pictures.

These animals are watching a movie.

Anna always gets on her belly to color.

Lucy drew this zebra and I thought it was so good I wanted a pic!

So then Luke drew this horse and wanted me to take a pic of it, too.

This is our Hogwarts feast!  I was McGonagall and got to join Harry, Ginny and Hermione.  You can see all the sausages and pies there that we were feasting on.  We had just watched the Chamber of Secrets (skipping over the scary parts of course), and I guess the main thing they got from the movie was the feasting in the great hall.  Which I can't blame them of course.  Reading or watching Harry Potter always makes me hungry.
